Hope everyone is having a fun and “un-labored” Labor Day holiday.  We are enjoying a relaxing day after our two-day show at Chartreuse Market Days.

Here are some pictures from the weekend that show you what we have been up to.

This refinished table and five chairs sold on Saturday.

Almost everything in the picture below sold-

A french bread board, a vintage cutting board we stenciled with a crowned bird, and a tin full of Kathy’s stenciled state pillows

With Halloween coming, we made these “Boo” pillows out of orange burlap.  The large basket was a castoff from our neighbor that we painted black-

This wonderful “Paris” pillow with upholstery webbing was one of the first items to sell-

We were thrilled when we found this set of matching end tables, which many people ask for.  Well they sold separately — go figure.  We refinished them in a bluish green color.

Here are a couple of whimsical pieces we did.

Bumblebee chair-

Spinning clock stool-

We reupholstered this wonderful old bench courtesy of our friends Matt and Christine.

This old piano bench had several layers of disgusting fabric tacked to the seat, but now it is quite cute.  If the pattern on the bench looks familiar you’re very observant.  We love the stencil and used it on the “Paris” pillow earlier in this post.

With summer vacations and prep for the Chartreuse Market day show, we have been a little slow in showing you the progress from our last two upholstery classes.  We will post them for you soon.

Also, stay tuned as we are currently working on a fall window design for Zoe Boutique.

Stay cool!
